Laura Davidson Direct
The Ask
To design, fabricate and produce a 20×30 custom trade show booth for Laura Davidson Direct at the Las Vegas Market. Headquartered in Las Vegas, this was the first trade show booth ever for Laura Davidson Direct. Our client wanted something that would catch people’s attention using forward thinking to promote their online space where their focus is extremely fast service, customer service and simplicity – mixed with some fun. No product should be an afterthought, a clean and contemporary store feel.
The Solution
Fresh Wata created a fully customized, branded booth for Laura Davidson Direct, highlighting the launch of their new furniture collections in different colors and styles. The focal grand display piece, an 8×20 wall showcased the many stockpile cabinets in their collection. The secondary focus on the Lexi chair, the third focus on the Bowery chair and fourth focus on the Astoria chair. The colors used were Laura Davidson Direct PMS blues from their branding guidelines, shared with Fresh Wata.
In the center of the booth was a two-tier pedestal displaying the Lexi chair at the very top, surrounded by additional chairs in their collection on the bottom. A double-sided light box wall, back-lit with seamless graphics allowed market attendees to envision the Laura Davidson Direct furniture in their office space.
Exhibiting the Bowery and Astoria chairs, Fresh Wata created arch walls with descriptive placards mimicking that of a museum art piece. Additional branding was applied to the opposite side of the arch walls using die cut vinyl. Samples of fabrics were handed out to attendees inside the booth and people were invited and welcomed to test the furniture on display.
